Bakers with a knack for pissing off the wrong people. We’ve been called many things, most of which aren’t suitable for publishing. Anywhere.

Most of the things we’re called are just too dull for us to put into print. When an upset customer violently shakes her fist in our general direction and curses us “cake nazis” with an old gypsy-spell, we’ve learned to nod our heads, smile pleasantly, and continue kneading our dough. It’s not as though these things don’t matter - they do (especially when we discover that gypsy woman was evil enough to bewitch us with eternal flaccidity) - but, for the most part, we figure our readers aren’t interested.

But really, why would bakers create a blog that rarely touches on baking, cooking, or food?

Whether you realize it or not, we’re feeding you pies. We bake up lovely confections in our well-tended blog-oven and serve them, fresh, steaming, and gooey to you over the internet. Our treats won’t even get your monitor or wires sticky. Don’t quite see how it all fits together? It’s a philosophy. Baking is life.
